Life is good and music is great. I hope you all are enjoying the new year, 2008. This year is starting out just as busy as the last one ended. I have new projects started with (in no particular order) Rob Mattson, a professional returning to music after years away which is to everyone's benefit from the central Mass area. Also I am working with Emily Sawich, a young voice I'm sure we are all going to hear about and Duane D'Agnese, a singer/songwriter/instrumentalist from Concord NH. I am working on a new project for Peter Fischman and Deb O'Hanlon. Marc Bridge, a talent I first heard at the Sit'n Bull open mic, who writes and performs his own varied material varying from funny to serious and clever as well, has started a project. Cynthia Schroer and Lisa Murray, a songwriting- piano/singing team that are putting together some beautiful and thought provoking music, and Perry Desmond-Davies is back at work! (Yeah!), and more to come!!!
Richard Eilbert, John MacLean, Graham Walker, and Paul Rogoshuwski are continuing to work with me in the studio on their projects. We are in the mixing stage for Chris Pahud, Ellen Schmidt, and Steve Gretz and Leslie Lee (Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steve for the loss of his dad recently). Whose Muddy Shoes just finished Mastering with Dana White at Specialized Mastering in Framingham.... Boy their new CD sounds GREAT!!! Look for local CD release performances for this wonderful group consisting of Mark Dix, Jack Esher, Bill Mantone and Robin Winter. Great harmonies, instrumentation, writing and old friend banter abound!
Once again I am performing out as a solo and in various combinations with musical friends. Watch my calendar page for gigs as they pour in!I expect great things this year on all fronts. So, keep in touch and may the force be with us, each and everyone one of us!
